Our research group is actively engaged in publishing high-impact work at the intersection of energy, sustainability, and materials science. Our core focus areas include gaseous energy storage (hydrogen, methane), carbon dioxide capture and separation, advanced solvent systems such as ionic liquids and deep eutectic solvents for improving material design for advanced chemical processes, and the molecular design of functional materials. We integrate experimental methods with molecular modeling and simulations (density functional theory and molecular dynamics) to accelerate materials discovery and process innovation.
